What to Expect

1

Arrival & Parking

Our parking lot has plenty of space, including designated areas for families and guests. Look for the "First Time Guest" parking signs near the main entrance.

2

Warm Welcome

Our friendly greeters will welcome you at the door and can answer any questions. If you have children, they'll point you toward our secure kids' check-in area.

3

Kids & Students Check-In

Our children's and student ministries provide age-appropriate, engaging environments. Check-in is easy and secure, and we'll give you a number tag to pick up your child after service.

4

Find a Seat

Grab a cup of coffee and find a comfortable seat anywhere in the sanctuary. Our members love meeting new people, so don't be surprised if someone introduces themselves!

5

Worship Experience

Our services include contemporary worship music, biblical preaching, prayer, and communion (first Sunday of each month). Services typically last 60-75 minutes.

6

Connect After Service

Stick around after the service! We'd love to meet you, answer questions, and help you take your next steps. First-time guests are invited to stop by our welcome center for a small gift.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about my kids?
We love kids! We offer nursery care for infants through age 3, and engaging kids' ministry programs for ages 4 through 5th grade. All of our volunteers are background-checked and trained. Students in 6th-12th grade are welcome to join us in the main service or attend our student ministry area.
Is there a dress code?
Absolutely not! Come as you are. You'll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and dresses. We care more about your heart than your wardrobe.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
We want you to feel welcomed, not uncomfortable. We won't ask you to stand up or raise your hand. If you'd like to connect with us, you're welcome to fill out a connection card or stop by our welcome center, but there's no pressure.
What about the offering?
Giving is an act of worship for our church family, but as a guest, you are not expected to give. We'll never pressure you or make you feel uncomfortable about not participating in the offering.
How can I get more involved?
We'd love to help you find your place! After attending a few services, consider joining a small group, serving in a ministry area, or attending our next newcomer's lunch where you can meet our pastoral team and learn more about Memorial Baptist Church.
Is the building accessible?
Yes! Our facility is fully wheelchair accessible with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. Reserved accessible parking is available near the main entrance. If you need any assistance, please let our greeters know.
